HOW IT GOT STARTED
Hi everyone, my name is Clarice. Just like any other food blogger you see out there, I live and breathe food with a love for cooking.
I live in Hong Kong with my husband and our two lovely daughters. Because our daughters are still young, I found the lack of shelf space becoming more and more of an issue, so I have decided to consolidate all my recipes here online to save space and to make it easier to share with friends and family in the future.

I do a wide range of recipes which are mostly Asian (mainly Cantonese) and American due to my upbringing. The way I cook is a bit more freestyle so I have a tendency to combine recipes together or add my own seasonings to it due to the lack of ingredients here in HK, and I tend to forget what I did after I make a dish so I need to document my recipes for my own and my kids' sake. By the way, you will also notice I tend to say "to taste" a lot because I taste as I go when I cook and so most of the measurements are just approximate amounts. :)
Another reason why I'm making this recipe blog? Well.. one of my biggest issues with most of the lovely food blogs I surf is that we have to keep scrolling till the very end for the recipe. I get it is very fun to read sometimes and informative, but it really doesn't help when I am in a hurry to do a dish and there are days I just wish the recipes are straight to the point like a normal recipe book.
Hence... I'm looking to make this a recipe blog where recipes are short and sweet, unless there are value-added notes, I will just refrain from ranting on and on. (Well, I'll try!)
